Lots of Detail

In addition to radar, this app gives the weather service statements. We live in Denver but spend a considerable portion of our time at 9,000 feet altitude and cross the Continental Divide enroute. This app lets us fine-tune our travel plans to avoid the treacherous ice and snow on I-70 during Fall, Winter, and Spring. Certainly worth a try IMO.
